Lake Minnetonka Care center is located in beautiful Deephaven, Minnesota, in the Western Suburbs of Minneapolis. We are roughly two blocks from historic Lake Minnetonka. LMCC has been a Nursing Home for almost 60 years, specializing that entire time in caring for the mentally ill.

We have been working with mentally ill
residents having Schizophrenia, Manic Depression, Paranoia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Scizoaffective Disorders, Depression, Acute Anxiety and other forms of mental illness.

We believe the small size of our home, having only 21 residents in combination with our caring staff offers a wonderful living environment for our residents.

History of Lake Minnetonka Care Center:

Lake Minnetonka Care Center was a former family homestead and summer vacation spot for the well to do residents of nearby Minneapolis. The home was originally called Cottagewood Nursing Home. LMCC has served the community for the past 58 plus years and is committed to quality, compassionate and respectful nursing care. This family commitment is carried out today by the Sprinkel Family, owners, hands on operators and administrators since 1987.
