Lake Minnetonka Care Center (LMCC) is a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF-1) providing 24 hour licensed nursing care for people with mental illness. Our home is unique in that it is a nursing home caring exclusively for the mentally ill.
 As far as we are aware, LMCC is the only nursing facility in the Twin Cities metro area that provides care exclusively for residents having mental health issues. We provide 24 hour nursing care with both RN and/or LPN coverage at all times. We have a Medical Director who has worked with LMCC for over 20 years! We have a Psychologist with over 10 years of experience at LMCC who comes regularly to the home to visit our residents. A Psychiatrist comes monthly to see the residents in their home setting, not in the office. A facility owned van helps to provide outings for the residents into the community on average about twice a week.
